"Gambling-related harms represent a significant potential driver of health inequalities."

And it has been proved time and time again that those who are already at risk of damage as a result of their gambling are more likely to be tempted to gamble by exposure to advertising for gambling.

"The substantial evidence that we found in all of the recent reviews of evidence in this field supports the utilisation of restriction in order to reduce one's exposure to gambling advertising," It is especially probable that this will lower the risk of damage to children, young people, and adults who are already vulnerable to the problems that are associated with gambling.
