Betdex, a gaming corporation based in the United Kingdom, has been granted a permission to operate remotely in Ireland. Betdex, the world's first fully licenced and regulated sports betting exchange built on blockchain technology, has been awarded a betting licence in the Irish jurisdiction of Ireland.

Back in October 2022, the Isle of Man also granted Betdex a permission to operate as an internet gaming establishment.

According to the firm, the receipt of the licencing licence corresponds with the launch of in-play betting opportunities for the cricket and tennis markets. 

Bettors who use the exchange will also have the opportunity to wager on a variety of side markets, such as the game and set winners in tennis matches, as well as the number of goals and goal scorers in football leagues in England, Europe, and elsewhere.

In addition to the current efforts that the firm has been putting out, it is anticipated that it will introduce betting markets for other sports and leagues, such as the Rugby World Cup, the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup, and cycling.
